Senior Bowl awaits QB decisions

All but 16 spots for the Senior Bowl have been filled, with a couple of intriguing quarterbacks still to make their decisions.
The Senior Bowl, the nation’s most prestigious college football All-Star game and the top showcase for NFL talent, has announced 94 accepted invitations, including Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph and Washington State quarterback Luke Falk.
They are ranked No. 2 and No. 3 among senior quarterbacks, respectively, by NFLDraftScout.com.
The No. 1 senior QB prospect, Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield, has yet to announce if he will participate in the Senior Bowl, to be held Jan. 27 in Mobile, Ala. The week of practice and interviews begin on Jan. 23.
Another quarterback possibility is Wyoming junior Josh Allen, who graduated after the fall semester and is eligible for the game. Allen, seen as a potential first-rounder, struggled with turnovers early in the season and was dealing with a shoulder injury down the stretch of the regular season.
The Senior Bowl typcially uses six quarterbacks, although it has played more on occasion.
